6大《涨》- 6 big Increase, Word of Year 2013

"If you want your children to keep their feet on the ground, put some responsibility on their shoulders", by Abigail Van Burent/  Pauline Philips, Author and Radio Host.

Since 2013, we had been stormed with exciting news from pilihanraya to price hikes. Price hikes currently is the hottest of all in 2013 until 2014. For non-Chinese readers/ Mandarin illiterate, the word 《涨》 can be described as increase/ increment. Basically, Malaysia government decided to adapt this word as their political move. Therefore, regardless of races, languages, etc, this will affect us all, Malaysian directly.......

The increment of price is to aim reducing the subsidies provided in various sector as a step to improve country income. These numerous increments in prices have somehow burdened the lives of normal citizens. Therefore, let list down the prices increment announced this year:

  • 20 cents increase in diesel and Ron 95 (Aftermath- a foreseeable domino effect in the increase of daily items prices.
  • 34 cents increase in sugar/kg basis (Aftermath - a direct increase in food and beverages, ie: some hawkers stall took chances to increase 50 cents to RM 1.00)
  • Pork prices have been increased again (Aftermath - eat expensive pork-products especially during Chinese New Year)
  • 15% increase in electricity tariff (Aftermath - a burn in the wallet despite as-claimed by governmental sector that only a small portion of users will be affected, i.e.: electricity usage less than RM77 will typically unaffected)
  • 50 cents to RM2.00 increase in road toll (Aftermath - cost-hike in transportation for motorists, need more money to use the road)
  • Up to 300% increase in state servants salary (Aftermath - more people want to join politics, me toooooo!!!!)

In personal point of view, reducing subsidies perhaps is the way to achieving developed status. However, to such a drastic extent, it will either break or make a country. A sharp increase in daily and business life definitely will take a toll in development instead. A stage-introduction of reduction should be a better way!

Based on the summary, it can be seen that a lot of people will  be disgruntled (learn a nice world recently from uni), unhappy, burdened, etcc................. a tiring post indeed....................Needless to say more (IKAT PERUT) -

2014 will be a difficult and expensive Year

Turning Point of Life

As in my previous post, life is getting uncertain ever since joining the Ph.D. life. Perhaps, I need to be inspired at this moment. Can I have a pool of ideas which are like unpolished diamond, kinda greedy?! But, my brain is so dried up now. Hopefully, I can see beyond the windows.

Program Vaksinasi HPV 2013, You Decide Your Health

General Information
Nothing is more important than health regardless you are studying or working. Therefore, it is time to start taking of yourself, girls! In this very post, I have some useful information on the HPV Vaccination Program (PVHPV)

This program is initiated by Population and Family Development Board Malaysia (LPPKN) under the prevision of Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) with the aim to to reduce the occurrences of disease due to Cervical Cancer in women in the next 20 years.

The goal for this vaccination drive is to:
  • To administer HPV vaccination to all girls born in the year 1993 and 1994 that belongs to the "catch up group"
  • To protect Malaysian women from the risk of HPV infection
  • To lessen the risk of cervical cancer among women in Malaysia.

With the goals above, it is targeted to combat cervical cancer in which there are abnormal cervic cell growth in the body. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main culprit (about 99.7%) causing cervical cancer [1]. Vaccination against this HPV might reduce death by 2/3 [2]. Currently, Malaysia's 3rd most common cancer is cervical cancer which is staggering to know!

Eligibility and Schedule
All women from the age of 18 and above and is not pregnant is eligible for the free HPV vaccine. Under the government initiative, from 2nd of October to 16th November, LPPKN will be going to Universities in Klang Valley, Sabah and Sarawak to give out free vaccine to all the selected Universities students. Nokia 5730 Memory: Ants, Tree, Sky and The Decision

If they try to rush me, I tell them I've only got one other speed, and that's slower, Taurean Glenn Ford
Here is a new tradition of my post every now and then to include a quote. One fine day, I dug up an old exercise book from my secondary school/ high school days. It was truly inspiring as I opened the book and found meaningful phrase/ quote that I either copied from the newspaper or from the internet. My state of mind was instantly rejuvenated, seeing that myself was once a determined individual. I copied about 300++ in my book!  I would like to share out my might to keep living on (^^)

Anyway, let me talk on the phone 1st. Nokia 5730 of 3.2 megapixel phone was a phone I won 4 years ago! Yup, my slogan actually won a grand prize in a online contest. It was valued at about RM 1300++ as it was just released not long ago. The specs of the phone that time was more than impressive; not only it has a qwerty keyboard (hidden), it is also an internet phone. This meant a lot to me as it was my 1st smartphone!!!!!!! I also just want to say that Nokia's Carl Zeiss's lense is truly awesome.

Right now, I rarely uses Nokia 5730 to take photos eversince I change my phone to Nexus 4 which is a touchscreen smartphone. Therefore, as a memory of Nokia 5730 serves me, I shall share the photos as a walk down on memory lane. (Long-winded post indeed)

The Ants, Tree and Sky was taken at my university - University of Nottingham Malaysia. Those ants were the ferocious red ants; once bitten, it would definitely hurt. I was so surprised that my Nokia 5730 had the capability to take this kind of images even though it is slightly blurry and low resolution.

Oh, by the way, if you follow my last last last post, I was so anxious of The Decision. Yup, after venturing into an amazing Oil and Gas Consultation company for roughly a year, I decided to further my studies as a Ph.D student in Chemical Engineering Field back to my university!!!! Yes, you hear me right! It was a mixed feeling - happy, anxiety, worry, determined, doubt, ........ huge mix-pot. But, I had grounded my thought and in this future 3 years, I will walk into the Ivory Tower once again for one last time (maybe)!

The consultation job was tough and challenging with steep learning curve. However, I was getting a hang of it and it soon became a huge part of my life. I was so glad that I had this amazing year of experience with capable people and reputable company. It moulded me into a more confident person and taught me never hide away from challenges.

Some people argued that my job was quite excellent since it was mainly in Oil & Gas field and consultation. It would be loss if I just gave up like that. Plus, Oil & Gas is all about experience. True enough, perhaps my 3 years of studies would not be able to make up the 3 years of experience in any field. I just want to say that life is more than taking a risk; it is more like grabbing an opportunities. When it knocks, I just have to grab it. My lovely supervisor offers me a full sponsorship as a investment to my interest. This is an opportunity that I would'not want to let go.

Another reason is that after a couple years of working, I believe that it would be difficult to go back to study life. So, I just want to sekaligus use this amazing chance and develop into a more technically-competent person that ever. So, that's all I want to say! Wish me luck pleaseeeeeee (^^)

Let the 3 year journey begins!

The Ugly Truth of Bile Bear

Adapted from Sin Chew 2012

With all the hazy news recently, I was on a short escape back to Ipoh - A Heaven! Reason?! It is practically almost haze free. Anyway, to avoid the possible of exposure to air pollutants like CO,CO2, SO2, etc, I stayed inside my palace-feel home.

In the midst of updating my blog, I found a horrible news from my photo albums. The Bile bear aka the CAGED BLACK BEARS.  Based on Sin Chew Daily 2012, it reported a news on the cruelty on the black bear as they were not only being caged and were forced to wear a corset-like device to extract their liver juice directly from their bodies!!!! It is basically like performing a surgery without anesthetics.....

What was more disgusting was that Fang Shuting, director of the China Association of Traditional clamied that the harvesting process as harmless as “turning on a tap” [1].

Regardless any living beings, with the body being cut open without consent, it definitely would not be like opening a tap. Another horrific news from China. Hence, it is urged to:

SAY NO TO THIS CLAIM-TO-BE-EFFECTIVE HERBAL INGREDIENT!!!

Job Hunting Is Never Easy - Advice Needed

Photobucket
It had been more than a month since my graduation. Ever since then, I have been looking for job non-stop. Despite graduated in a Master Degree, it seems to be futile in searching for a job for me ~ I wonder why~ Most of my friends already found some fantastic jobs; only a few left (including me) still hanging around. I don't mind sitting at home; but the peer pressure is really enormous.

The Reasons I Couldn't Find A Job
  1. Speed - some of my coursemates already applied job way before graduation. Yes, in this competitive world, we have to be fast (><)
  2. Timing - currently a lot of universities just had their graduations; therefore, this means more people fighting for the same position.
  3. Interview skill - I wonder, is my communication skills that bad? I think my confidence is getting lower ....lower....lower....Will I die without a job (@@)?????
  4. Technical skill - I believe my results are quite fine. But, still it is so hard to get an interview....
  5. Choosy - I don't think I am, I applied any jobs on Jobstreet but it takes forever to get a reply; after waiting month long, it just stated that position closed (@@)..Heart-broken......
  6. Resume - Is it my resume not nice? Haizzzzz~~~~~
Until now, I got only 4 interviews with no feedback. Perhaps, it is time for me to rethink, replan, revise my previous action plans. Maybe, I am still lacking of interview skills here ........Anyhow, if you have any job related to environmental or chemical engineering, please just leave a commment.....Or, better stilll, give me some good advice in job hunting....(><) Hopefully, one day, I will dance like the dancing light in the picture. Nice illumination using a cloth (^^)

The Vanishing Petaling Street (消失中的茨厂街)

I still remember the debate on the MRT construction at the Petaling Street area. What is the outcome? Anyhow, after the news, I basically went there to have a walk down memory lane. (Yup, quite a sentimental guy I am). It is funny that people don't remember what they said, I do.

Well, this is the price of development. Whether Petaling Street will be a history or not, we'll see. During my undergraduate life (foundation year), I always went past this area to reach Puduraya (Even Puduraya underwent an extreme makeover (HERE)). Because the stupid and naive me, didn't know that Plaza Rakyat is just beside Puduraya. Therefore, after taking KTM to KL Sentral, me and my coursemate will take the LRT to Pasir Seni. From there, we dragged our luggage with the rush to buy the earliest ticket back home. Those were the days. Now, I believe I am too old to carry 4 BAGS per person already..Hahaha~

On our way, we often passed by a Chinese temple, but time restriction ceased our step into the temple. But, this time around, I decided to take my own sweet time and have a final look (don;t know whether the temple will be affected or not though). You can see the joss stick, releasing the fume of worship.

The golden dragons are guarding the temple. Too bad the temple was under construction and renovation, therefore, didn't get to take a lot of photos that time (><).

Hopefully, this heritage can be conserved for many years to come. Anyhow, recently, very hardworking in finding a job. No easy to find a job even though I am a graduate in Master of Engineering, kinda stress and sad ~ Jobstreet maybe a good source of employment, but the competition is horrific~~~~ 1 fresh graduate position, 4000 people applied, this is insane (@@)

Malaysia Current (Forever) Unresolved Issues ~ Crime, Education and Environment

(1) Crime Status in Malaysia
Even since I started my university life, I was so oblivious of Malaysia current issues. I didn't subscribe to any newspapers. After graduated, I can finally start to focus on current issues. Today, I read a special edition of Sin Chew Daily. Basically, above image tells you almost everything. The main context is that "Who let the criminals become so haughty (arrogant)?" (Don;t mind my translation).

While the police side keeps on assuring the citizens of Malaysia that Malaysia is the 16th safest place in the world, horrible murdering cases keep on popping up. The author of the article stated that it is not the media fault for emphasizing the crime in Malaysia; the real culprit is the criminals. What the author said is true!  Do you see any police cars ronda-ing at your neighbourhood? The policemen are getting salary from the taxpayers; at least, set up a patrol team in DARK ZONE!If you follow HK drama (don;t whether is true or not), they have police on the street to take care of the safety of the people there. Anyhow, the special edition focuses on 7 viewpoints as follow:

  1. Men: Used to be the protector of the family and women; but, now, they themselves are the targets of robbers, snatch thieves..... They are having problems to protect themselves..(><)
  2. Women: Often victims in many cases. Right now, even walking in shopping is dangerous to the ladies ~~ horrible
  3. Elderly : Last time, Kampung home was the heaven to them. It was peaceful and all. But, nowadays, the thieves break into the house 1st without considering whether the old people have money or not ~~~ not safe anymore. Impossible you can let the gate unlock before going to sleep like last time.
  4. Children: Easily targeted or kidnapped for ransom and others. The streets in Malaysia full of evil people waiting to strike when you turn your back just for a sec !
  5. Housewives : This is interesting because, housewives are often the victim of snatch thieves when they go out to do groceries shopping. An infamous case in Penang recently shocked the hell out of the people when 5 passers-by decided to ignore an injured victim of snatch thief ><
  6. Family: Whole family being tied up and robbed isn't anything new anymore. 4 years ago, I was still shocked to hear about this. But now, it has become so COMMON ! This means that the condition didn't improve at all.
  7. Business: Even doing businesses in some places are not that easy anymore, Cheras is one of the places which most of the shoplots are installed with gates.
Should police blame on the media on telling the citizens' truth happened in Malaysia ? No! If there isn't any cases for them to report, obviously, they will find other news!

(2) Education and University Admission
I am just glad that I am always the last batch in every decision-changing of education system. I am proud to say that I learnt mathematics and science in Malay. Then, they changed to English education which was supposed to be better. Recently, they decided to change back to Malay again~ Flip Flop ! Eventually, the student produced will be inconsistent.

University Admission and scholarship -  STPM and SPM full As can't get full scholarship. This is the old news for 10 years already! Please reveal the selection process to be fair to everyone! Why a matriculation student (sorry to some of my friends, i am not criticizing matriculation students) is given privilege 1st in course selection? Are they more superior for their course is only 1 year long? I am sure most of you know how tough STPM could be ~ Extra-curriculum might play a factor; but, a lot of academic-excellent students did their best to fulfill the requirement.

(3) Environmental Conservation
I have been very fond of pandas; I even had a panda toy which is bigger than the size of a baby. As I grew up, I gave away my toys. Again, I am not criticizing the panda, but, why we would spend so much money to import 2 pandas to Putrajaya (not the Zoo Negara) (report $1 million per year for the loan for 10 years). While some may argue, the approval of the panda loan signifies the strong relationship between Malaysia and China. However, it is best that the animal stays at their origin. Anyhow, I believed that panda is well-conserved in China. How about the animals in Malaysia? I simply google and get a list of endangered species in Malaysia:

  1. Orang Utan
  2. Tapir
  3. Rhinoceros
  4. Penyu
  5. Tiger
  6. black shrew
With the money spent to build a living ground in Putrajaya wetland, this not only doesn't consider the tourism potential, the money invested could be used to save our own endangered species. ~~~ I have to say that I really know nothing about politics; my heart is to conserve the environment in Malaysia.

Anyhow, in the older news, there were even illegal logging in Perak state which further destroyed the habitats of the wildlife. I also observed that there are some mountains in Ipoh becoming "botak". Hmmmm~~~~~

It is easy to comment! Perhaps, government is doing their best effort to curb this situation. However, even if you give 150%, THE OUTCOME IS BAD MEANS IS BAD. I think most of us just want to see IMPROVEMENT, that's all and no more~~~~

Holding On Like A Grasshopper

Life wasn't fair to me for a long time. When I was so young, I worked very hard, I did for a period. Then, working so hard didn't take me where I wanted to go. I gave up! But, a little incident sparked my life again when I was 17-year-old. I ended my secondary school gloriously. But, again, life wasn't fair to me; I gave up again !

Until on finding the next path, my combat energy was revived to 100%. I kicked some serious a**! But, it did bring to a location which I thought it was ideal. However, it turned out to be a hellish abyss. As my fighting life is fading as years gone by, an awakening moment arose abruptly. I really slaughtered through ~ Yes, I won an unexpected war. Finally, the war ended magnificently; I thought I could finally pack my stuffs and go back to where I come from. Another huge bump suddenly showed up, blocking the ray of hope.

It was not a good decision; but I made it. Now, I have to bear the consequences. Sound serious?! Yes, it is. But, I believe life is not fair. You win some, you lose some. To me, my true dreams are yet to be realised. Until today, the choices I made really didn't please me; but, they took me far and high. I hope to speak out everything in words; but, I decided not to because it is still not time yet. ~

Anyhow, life goes on! I could win a war back then; I can and will definitely win again! My grip will be stronger than any grasshopper on the planet!

Another emo post from A Person who loves insectology (^^)

The Unhealthy Property Development in Ipoh, Perak?

Ipoh is a beautiful city located in Perak state. It is widely well-known to be a food heaven and a perfect retiring spot! The environment there is still not too developed. However, recently, when I make trip back to Ipoh, it seems to be developing quite fast. There are so many shop lots and cars in Ipoh now!

Well, it is kinda great to see such development; but, I felt sad to see the gradual increase in pollution around the city. Then, the biggest issue comes to my mind. Despite all the happening events in Ipoh, the price of material, food, transportation and houses is also increasing.

Photobucket

For instance, the mee I usual eat was just around RM2. Now, it already sky-rocketed to RM5 (almost equivalent to KL rate). Anyway, the most outrageous is the newly-built houses in Ipoh. Well, I don't want to mention which developer, but, in such ways, it actually puts heavy burden on fresh graduates and other working people. In Ipoh, it is not easy to find a high-paid job! Now, the salary didn't increase for years, but the houses' price are extremely expensive!

Now, 1stly, I think almost whole Malaysia's properties are like increasing crazily!!!!! @@~ This of course also affects Ipoh's property to increase. But, does Ipoh have that many people to buy property??? Is it necessary to build so many houses there? Is the population in Ipoh increasing? A semi-D in Ipoh is more expensive than in places like Serdang ---- around RM700k...A bit speechless when I read the advertisement! A bungalow cost RM 1 million @@~~~~~~~WOW, Ipoh, i thought is one of the poorest cities in the country....

If a fresh graduate just got a job with salary of RM 2500, is he or she capable to the houses in Ipoh? NO ~~~~~~~ Since the houses here is almost equivalent to KL, why don't people buy in KL? Therefore, instead of letting the developers keep on building non-stop, government should really take time to review such development whether is healthy or not. At least, they should control the volume and the price of the house. If too many houses are built with less demand, it would only cost the price of the houses to fall! If too few houses are built, it would cost the price to shoot as high as Mount KK!

And, lastly, Ipoh is such a  beautiful place with quite a lot of natural heritage! I hope that government should provide proper planning on the development!!!!!!! Don't just build for the sake of development and economy! Environment is still the most important!

The 1st Post of 2012 - The Wikipedia Protest

I am finally back! There are just too much going on right now! I feel kind of drowning! Everything seems so vague! I don't really what to say or write. It had really been a long time since I type anything here in this virtual space. Just heard a bad news, will talk a bout this later.

Even Chinese New Year is just a few days apart, the tiredness I feel now is still too overwhelming! Perhaps, I should go for another round of endless sleep. Imagine that 3 days ago, I have 1 assignment and 2 exams (@@)...And, when I need to find general info the most, WIKIPEDIA decided to protest for 24 hours @@~~~~~~~~

The concern is totally understandable. Therefore, a lot of bodies join the force! As you can see, even Mozzilla Firefox also showed some actions on their page! When Wikipedia become not free or available to the public, it would be a nightmare. I am not encouraging academic bodies to use Wikipedia because it is still a public domain. However, we can always know where to start and how to start using Wikipedia~~~~

Just another normal weekend. So, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR (^^)!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``

Nankurunaisa (なんくるないさ) from Blood+ 4th Year Student Perspective

Everything seems so hard. Yet, isn't this a part of our lives? Currently in my 4th year (Final Year), the stress and pressure are totally unbearable. I still wonder why there are too many courseworks. But, still have to live on and move on.

Got inspired from the anime - Blood+. One of my favs that is a bit realistic. The song above really soothes my tension. Anyhow will not be blogging that much due to extreme coursework mode.

Nankurunaisa - A Japanese word - Difficulties come not! (from Google Translate)
I am wishing everybody to overcome the difficulties!
Wish me luck (^^)

Malaysia Best in Losing Skilled Talent~With "Good" Education System!

When you talk about Malaysia, it is beautiful and peaceful and all. But, yet, I still think that Malaysian government can do more. Just watched the NTV7 siasat, I must admit this show is getting better and better! More critical reviews are being shown to the public! This week, it was about the Malaysian youngsters studying in Singapore's government schools while still living in Malaysia! More info at here!

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150285989600974

Malaysia already lost some fine talents @SPM and @STPM level. Now, with more children going to Singapore at such tender age, I believe Malaysia will be facing the talent shortage. Thus, at the end, foreign talents will be hired to work in Malaysia at a higher price!

  1. Everchanging of English and Malay Language as The Teaching Medium.
It is so tiresome to see our Education Ministry keeps on changing non-stop! If English is chosen, then stick with it! Now, after 5 years (how i know because I was the last batch learning in Malay), they go to change it again! Non-consistent education will only produce incompetent students. Instead of changing back to Malay, find solutions! Wonder why is it so difficult?

     2.  The Less Insured Placement in Local University.

You may be the top student in your school or even a top scorer in the Nation. Yet, you are not offered a place in the local university for the course you like like medicine, engineering, pharmacy....Now, fine if you can't secure a place due to average results. However, if you studied like a machine, scored straight As, you still couldn't get 1. This is definitely not your fault! The system in the local university might be biased. I can't really comment on that unless they show us the criteria on the students' selection. Then again, if result is not the part of it, what is? After seeing a lot of seniors suffered after scoring straight As in their STPM, I decided to enroll to a private university. A lot of them ended up in Singapore because Singapore appreciate talents! They even got scholarship to continue their studies there with a bond of course. But, isn't that great ?

     3. Competitive on Getting Scholarship
Malaysia's scholarships are hard to get! If you get 1, you really win a lottery. Yet, I still think the system in scholarship really not efficient. The government's criteria to find the scholars again are uncertain! In the end, a lot of full As students go on National TV to appeal their cases. Okay, it is fine if you said that results are not everything; that's why interview is required. However, I heard a lot of stories~~~

   4. University Level Education

Okay, if you are studying in University, I think English should be the main medium in teaching unless you are learning foreign language. However, from what I heard, it was not the case. Some of the lecturers conduct the teaching solely in Malays. Not that I am saying it is bad, you are loving your country. However, in term of teaching, you are actually educating the student to be less comprehensive in English~ Talking about the recent World university ranking, a government servant said that it is a bad influence to take notice of this rank! I said shut up~ From this ranking, you know your level! And, from there, it is never to late to improve it! How? I think should as the professional educator to solve it~ If not, why you hire them for the 1st place~
Just from a simple analysis, you would know that the Education system in Malaysia is still not effective enough to consider all the aspects! How will Malaysia strop lossing skilled talent?

Solve the problem from the root! From our children! Start to learn from other countries' education system! Why are they more successful ?

Weight Matter

Some people are blessed with amazing figure; some people no matter what they do, it is still the same. Okay, how come Mr. J here suddenly feel like talking about weight. Because over the past 4 years, there is a tremendous transformation of my body shape to a pear shape! Anyway, I was so used to people calling skinny last time.

Right now, I am a fat boy (called by a used to be fat boy, Kokleong). Haiz, he finally got his way back to me! It is his turn to get a demon-like body liao. ~ Despite my enormous weight gain, it is not really obvious except for the dropping chest and a bit of waistline increment. I still don't understand where are all the gained fats hiding?

Oh well, it is time to lose some weight for healthy sake. Still, it is almost never easy to maintain that kind of lifestyle. Can you guys share me some tips on lazy lose weight method? hahahahaha

Malaysia - Truly Wasting Money Like Water

Wow, the world is falling apart! With mega countries facing natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, forest fires, and any unimaginable events, Malaysia is also taking a great "leap" in developing its tourism sector, building sector and etc.

  1. The dunno-how-many-million 100 Mega Tower
  2. The 1.8 million webpage development
  3. The ISTANA~~~Wow, that 1 is......
So, first of all, why do we need another higher tower when we already have KL TOWER and TWIN TOWERS as the perfect display representation of Malaysia as a strong country. Renting out a 100-storey office is totally not easy~~~ When people have a lot of money and time, they will start to think of crazy stuffs and unrealistic stuffs.

Halo, Can you spend the money in useful places like transportation development. There are still so many places could not be assessed by train. Why not put the money in good place? Use them wisely to create a nation with one of the best train system in the world since Malaysia loves to be No.1 ! Of course, before that, look at the current KTM performance, super duper lousy! Improve it 1st before do anything else!

Then, 1.8 million to create webpages. Ok, fine. If you need that kind of money to do publicity~ But, when it comes to facebook, the charge is FOC? You need to hire programmers and web developers to design the stuffs, I also get it! However, the thing is that the money is definitely not well-spent because currently only 30k ppl like the page. Liking the page doesn't mean that the tourism is good and making money even when the like hits 120K by the end of the year!

So, my suggestion is that instead of using such money, find sponsors like PETRONAS, AIRASIA, MAS....I believe they will be thrilled to give the money! Then, organise a National Web Developing contest to award the winner with suitable amount of prize money and honour! Like that, not only the money can be saved, government can even make money and attract more local talents to serve the country!!!!!~~~This is just a simple business plan. SO , are you telling me that this is not workable?

Lastly, I can hardly comment of the PALACE (Istana). So, they need a new place to stay? Oh well, instead of purely becoming a residential area, make it to be a grand palace that is accessible as a museum or even a beautiful botanical garden. If not, the whole lot of land there will be wasteddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

Above all this, government is telling us that they don't have the money to send students to overseas anymore?????????@@ Speechless~~~

A Cruel World for The Cats

In the eyes of the cats, the world is becoming crueler and colder by the days. Gone were those days where people were more compassionate towards animals including cats and dogs. To them, humans were their best friend. But, who would have thought that humans would also become their worst enemies (note: not directed to cat lovers and other kind people in the world).

To be truthful, facebook really opens the eyes of people from all over the world. The 1st ever video on cats' torturing I watched was the high-heel Asian Bi*** killing the poor and defenseless kitten. The whole process was gruesome to watch. Before torturing the poor kitten, she was hugging it. The next thing, she was stepping her sharp heels into the poor kitten' body. Isn't this a horrific scene to see??? It was like piercing through my body. Imagine you are in the kitten's position!!!!! Until today, I don't know whether they caught her or not~~~

Then, just recently, another tragedy happened in Serdang. Yes, just near my place, this is so heartbreaking!!!!! The girl was stomping 3 kittens to death. The helpless mother of the kitten must have been devastated seeing her babies dying in front of her(><)!!!!!! Later, facebook users located her and she came out and apologised. I wondered why she did that at the 1st place~ !!!!! Think before you act!!!!!~~

Photobucket

About a year ago, a black cat gave birth to 3 pretty kittens at my neighbour's house. But, she was being chased away and landed at my place. My sis and I sympathised them and gave them water, food, a nice cardboard for them to stay. Before I could "kidnap" one of them, black mama took them away(><) Hope that they are living a better life! Look at them! Aren't they cute? HOW COULD PEOPLE BE THAT CRUEL!!!!(><)

Appreciate life! Don't just simply kill! Don't torture them as Earth is their homes tooo!!!!!~~~

PS: Currently facing huge workloads! But, the horrible event woke up me and reminded me not to forget how the World spins~~~

Exhaustion, An Excruciating Torment of Uncertain Life

This semester just passed by like nothing! Yes, I had chosen to do 4 Years of MEng (Master of Engineering) if you still remembered my dilemma a few  months ago. I regretted almost every moment~ Oh well, a bit too late. Anyway, this semester wasn't busy, but super duper busy! Because of some external commitments, everything seems to be piling up so fast that I can;t really stand it!

Anyhow, currently, I am having my study weeks. Next year, it is time to face yet another challenging final examination. Time really flew, just like that I am already in my 3rd year! So fast, I don't feel like graduating, but at the same time, I also feel like leaving my uni(><)

Exhaustion, an excruciating torment of uncertain life. Anyway, I realised that less and less people are reading my bloggie. What a sad scene to see(><) It is just a matter of time that it is being completely abandoned by people)><

A Rather Political Post - Budget Malaysia 2010/11

Haiz, what a busy me! I have been gone for quite some time! It is time to resurface back to my blog! Anyway, there is this urge or a spur of a moment for me to write this post~ Reason? Well, even though I rarely touch about politics in my blog (afraid of kena banned and etc), this time, I feel that I must express my thoughts as Malaysia is the place where I was growing up.

Anyhow, just cut to the chase. The Budget 2010/11 Malaysia got some good ideas, and a lot of bad ideas. Let's me analysis a bit.

Good Ideas:
  • Promoting Green Tech (Obviously good for environment and business)
  • Toll price will not increase woh (Good for us, bad for debt)
  • Tax free for branded accessories( Wow, all moms will be so happy)
Bad Ideas
  • Approximately 1600 million for government administration budget while development budget is about 450 million ( Not sure about the exact values, but this is definitely not logical at all) Supposed we wan to save admin fee mah, how come budget give one more zero for this case? Haiz, development is so cheap in Malaysia?
  • Build another Mega-Tower towering KL Tower and Twin Towers (Yes, this sentence has a lot of "Tower" , so is Malaysia! So, save the money and build other stuffs lah, enough Royal Palaces too)~~
Here are some of points I notice. Well, can't read all of them, really no time because my research project is here(><)! If you have any interesting points, feel free to add in the comment section. and I have a great suggestion. Since Budget Malaysia is like our own budget, isn't it best that we can vote for some policies and deny some? Budget is like a constructive way to control the usage of money. But, planning poor budget definitely would only waste a lot of money~~ Think before you spend!

Suggestion: Let the People of Malaysia to vote how to use our country money? Is building a taller tower, really makes Malaysia look tall?

tata for now! Time to go to sleep and write my essay(><)~~`

Clouds Lost Their Imaginations!

It had been so long since I lazed around and gazed into the sky above! Once upon a time, I was just another child who had amazing imagination. Whenever I looked into the clouds moving slowly in the sky, I could see so many interesting things. To be honest, I usually would see faces in the sky! Yes, I know it sounded a bit freaky, but, I actually could see people from England or from Europe with their curly wigs! Yes, I feel that I might be an Englishman in my previous life...hahahaha~~It seems my imagination is still running well in another way!

But, today, when I looked into the clouds, I couldn't see anything but clouds! I wonder when did I lose my imagination! Or, the clouds lost their imaginations? Maybe this is the price for growing up! We give in our imagination as time goes by! Ultimately, we start to forget Once Upon a Time, clouds can actually imagine us just as we imagine about them!

These few days, I am feeling a bit sad and down because of watching a movie! It was so well-filmed that each moment I saw back that particular scene, it actually hurts like hell! It had been another long period since I was touched like this again!

Let's say that this post is a reminder for everyone not to forget some moments in life even though growing up erases some memories!

So, have you look into the clouds today? What do you see?
