Who is WANTED?

In just about 15 minutes ago, seven friends and me just watched WANTED. I would say it was rocking and nice to watch. Today was its premier, of course, I would not miss it.

Well, the storyline is rather interesting. This movie is based on a comic, which I did not read or see before. Basically, it is about assassination, very...very... brutal murder and it all focused on a group called Fraternity. I am not exaggerating, when you watch the movie, you know what I mean(18-PL).

In this movie, I really enjoyed the action. It was truly an action-packed movie. You can see just about any action, breathtaking movements, and last but not least, one of the world most sexiest star, Angelina Jolie. Oh, don't forget about the male leading actor, James McAvoy and the award-winning actor, Morgan Freeman. With that kind of combination, there are just sparkles all over the place. Hot, hot, hot movie......

.

She is Fox in WANTED. Well, she is just mesmerizing as always. Even though she is wanted, she is already taken by Brad Pitt. But, she is still hot. She really demands attention. Have you ever heard this expression "her presence changes the molecules in the room"? When you see her in the movie, this is how you would feel.

Well, he is wanted as well. Even though he is a newcomer, James McAvoy also put up a great performance. In this movie, he really captures the attention of the audience. His pair of light-blue eyes is so captivating. In a similar way, this movie gives me the SPIDERMAN feel. He was nobody in the first place, but, his progress is very nice to follow.


From my review, WANTED is a must-watch movie. So, if you have time, go to cinema as soon as possible. This movie directed by Timur Bekmambetov, just really gives everybody a surreal experience after watching the movie. By the way, WANTED's official site is really awesome. Go and check it out. Lovely Lotus

If you see a lovely flower poising steadily by itself from the water and blossoming gracefully in pink, then, that is lotus as this is the general description for lotus flower. Actually, in my home, I have a little pot of lotus flower. Well, it matched the description above. To be honest, it is very easy to plant lotus. You need a holeless pot, soil, sand on the surface and of course, water. These are the important ingredients.

So, before I write this article, I did some research. Hahaha, this is the results of studying in academic style. Surprisingly, there is another name for lotus - Nelumbo. What a beautiful name! Apart from that, I also found out that lotus is actually the national flower for India; therefore, sometimes, people refer lotus as " Sacred Lotus ".

Did you know that every part of the lotus plant has its own use? Of course, the flower itself is for decoration. But, the core of lotus, or rather the fruits is quite nice to eat. Apart from that, the root of the lotus is also edible. It can be cooked into various delicious dishes. Last but not least, even its leaves can be used to wrap rice for cooking purposes. Lotus is a hundred-use plant indeed.

Well, below are some of the shots that I took. It is not perfect, but, I really enjoy taking pictures of beautiful flower.

At this moment, the flower is about to blossom. Even so, it still looks very graceful.


Finally, it blossoms fully majestically with its pinkish petals like a shy little girl becoming a charming lady.



This yellowish core is so soft and warm just the the heart of a person.

I would say that the gracefulness and the sacredness of lotus is just simply exquisite. There is no other flower has that sacred feel. If there is, please tell me by leaving a comment .Hahaha....

My Mask

People wear masks for so many reasons. Some wear a fake mask to hide the true feeling. Some wear for ritual reasons. Some wear for fun. Finally, some wear for art. This time I wear for art.

During my long holiday, I was able to find some time to make a mask inspired by Venice. I had made it by using newspapers and painted by using water colour. It is just a simple piece of my artworks. I really like it because it represents me in an artistic way.

Omg! I was No.1 blogger at wretch.

Actually. I have been blogging for a year in another website called wretch which I think is quite famous in Taiwan.

I still remembered when I first found out this site from my senior sis, Yeeyee Sis. So, at that time, I was still not aware of what is blog. But, after reading some of her articles , I realised that I also have the passion to write and to share my thoughts to everybody just like her. Visit her blog here to find out what she thinks.

As Time Goes By(Casablanca)

I love old movie, music and even fashion. Without them , there will be no tomorrow. That is why oldies are classical. We even can learn a lot from them. They exist before us, they mould our future. That is how the cycle revolves and people must not forget the past. We have to look ahead to move on, but, we must never forget the history. Well, I sound very serious, right? It is a serious matter. Well, I don't recall which date of our local newspaper, a piece of news stated that right now, a survey was conducted to determine whether it is necessary to teach history in primary school.

At first, I was shocked to see such survey was conducted. But, people have to be rational before being judgmental. I realised that nowadays, students are facing enormous amount of homework even in primary school . But, is this reason strong enough to stir up this issue. I would say keep the history if I were the respondent because:

1) We must remember the past to ensure we don't repeat mistake again.
2) We must remember our own cultures.
3) We must remember the contributions of the heroes who set our country free.

Well, this is the three main point I can think of right now. My brain rusted after leaving history for quite some time. But, what I learn is more than history, it instill the awareness of being conscious of my own country. So, leave the history alone. Don't bully history because it told me how Parameswara came to Malacca, how Tunku Abdul Rahman fought for independence, ...


Well, I have gone too far from As Time Goes By, but, as time goes by, we will still remember something very special in our lives, any events like wedding, first-born child. So, even oldies melodies are not going to suit our lives now, they are here to stay to show us and guide us to the path of future.

I really love this song. It is a classical from Casablanca, a historical movie that woo fans around the globe. This movie shows us that even though it is already history, it still impacts different people differently. So, love this song, keep this history.

Petrol Phenomenal and Petrol Panic

Maybe my title is a little bit exaggerated, but, to me and everybody who has cars, it is really a serious matter. The petrol's price has increased about 70-80 cents. That is a lot, approximately 30 percents. Well, as a wise consumer, hahaha, my mum and I set on a journey to add petrol before the clock struck midnight.

We were on a mission:

1) Add petrol
2) Add petrol
3) Add petrol before 12.


Therefore, around 8pm, I abandoned the computer and started our mission. At first, we went to the nearby petrol station, it was already fulled. We changed to plan B, we went to another petrol station, but, it was even worse. Retrieved to plan A. There was even more people there. But, we didn't give up.


This was the first time, I saw traffic jam because of purchasing petrol. Here are some pictures.


There are lanes of cars there. So horrible. We were waiting for the queue for so long.


The line didn't move at all. We were suspecting of people “cutting queue”


Finally, we saw hope.There was Shell poised steadily, even though, hundred of cars were under its roof.

Finally, it was almost our turn. Before, a stupid Waja cut the line as if he was the king of road. I will remember this car forever. People had been waiting for so long. What right does he has to do that? Oh, well, I will not do that because I have dignity and integrity, I will be ashamed of myself for doing that..hahah again(exaggerated)....

Add Petrol ( Mission Accomplished )

My Lovely Soya...

To be frank, my house is almost like a zoo. I have dogs, cat, guinea pig, and used to have a tortoise. Right now, I still lack of an iguana, a snake, an adorable chinchilla, and a little hamster. But, if I get more pets, my mum sure will.....I have no idea. I think for this moment, I will stop. So, in this blog, I want to introduce my lovely cat this time.

My pet cat's name is Soya. Sometime, I also call her Soby, Baby,.. She is just my baby. Hahaha, please don't feel "geli" or "gross" because she is as cute as a baby. I love her light blue eye, white-furred body, and her unique black nose. That is my Soya. Now, I am going to show a few picture of her.

Even though she is such a beauty, she has a "diva" temper. Sometimes, she is even worse than really diva. Well, she doesn't like people to hold her. If you mess with her, she will bite. When you pamper, this ungrateful angel will certainly "attack". This is how she repay our love to her. Above all of this, she is still an angel from the outside only.Hahaha..So, you have to be patient with her, she is the diva.

I talked about her look and personality. But, I haven't talked about her journey to our home. My sister and I actually adopted her from a clinic. She was tiny that time. Too bad, I didn't have the copy of that. Eversince she came into our lives, she brought all sorts of emotions into our lives as well,

happy because she is so cute,
sad because she bites horribly,
clueless because she loves to hide outside for days,
grateful because she comes back safe and sound.


I really treat her like a family members, so does my family. She is a part of our lives for almost 8 years. She is still my baby even she is about 4o years older than me(animal life span sometimes is 7 times faster than human life span). She was, she is , she will be my baby no matter what.(She is getting fatter, hopefully, don't become obese).

My Orchid Fairland

I have started working already. Working days are not easy. But, that is life. Money!Money!Money! However, now, just put that aside. This time, I am going to write about my holiday. Of course, like everybody, my holiday life is just BORED. But, I did go to an interesting event held in my hometown. Currently, there is an orchid fair here. Well, it is not so grand, just a small fair. But, at least, it is a good pastime activity.

In that fair, I saw uncountable species of orchids. They are so mesmerising. Practically, there is a land of flower there under canopies of tents.
