Flowery Farewell for Her @Floria Putrajaya

These 2 days, I had been busy farewell-ing a friend of mine! It seems that I am busier during holiday! I have a lot of unfinished chores, works, and even some extra projects to do. Haiz, all of these are most probably my own fault to make myself busy! Anyway, today, this post is specially dedicated for a girl! Yes, not just any girl in town! She is my big sister lah!!!!Hahaha, apparently, she is going to Australia to live with my bro-in-law. So, it is almost 2 months already since she left. Nothing will ever be the same! But, we can't always expect life to be the same, right?

I know that Floria Putrajaya, this event ended a long time already. But, the scent, the colour are still vividly printed in my senses! Yes, this post is for you, my sis! If you read this, aren't you glad that we went for Floria instead of sleeping at home..Hahaha!

Warning: This post will be filled with photographs! So, please be patient while waiting for the photos to be loaded!~~~Btw, I used one of the photos for Merdeka Celebration Post(^^)@ here~

floria 2010

It was quite far away! Yes, it was within within Putrajaya! But, luckily we managed to find it! After parking the car, we marched into the exhibitions. The admission was free! and, one thing I must complain!!!! It was baking-hot outside; therefore, they should at least prepare for more roofings!

floria 2010

Now, here was the outside area! I bet it would be more beautiful if we come at night. However, due to time constraint, we could only see so much! Those white lanterns should be stunning at night!!~~

floria 2010

Of course, because of the high temperature outside, we quickly went inside the tentsthere! Inside the tent, it was a whole new exhibition of flower arts. I was snapping non-stop on the unique flower arrangement. Haiz, at this moment, I again hope for my DSLR to come into my arms. But, no, I don't have a DSLR, just have to live with my amazing Lumix FS6! Yeah!!!!~~~

floria 2010

This was one of the most amazing items in the tent! Everything was made out of plants, flowers~~~It was very chic!!!~~ It was definitely not easy to make this at all!!!~~

After the flowery visits, we went back home and rested for a while before driving to LCCT! It was quite a ride! Located so far away~~~(><) and We also had our dinner over there @ Old Town! It was by far the worst Old Town in Malaysia!!!! Service bad! Food bad!! Everything bad!!!

floria 2010

There she was! Standing there, worrying that her luggage would exceed the limits! Dear sister, hope that you will have a great start and a great life in Australia! Like the Chinese proverb - The beginning is the hardest (万事起头难)As long as you have the determination, no matter how much time you use, you will definitely find your path there! Enjoy your new life there!

All the best to you! May you find a fruitful path in Australia!!!!(^^)

Cameron Trippin 2009

Update: Currently, I still have 1 paper leave. Well, obviously, this time, all my battles, I lost enough!~~~I have a huge hunch that I might fail some papers(><)~~~Then, during my study week, I have a lot of stories to tell, from horrible uni cool pack to some friends bdays celebrations~~~But, till then, let's continue where I left off~~~ Cameron Trippin: Prelude.

Last year, my family and I went to the famous Cameron Highlands. Like I said in the previous post, it had been a long time. Anyway, Cameron Highlands is really a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Since Ipoh and Cameron Highlands are quite near since the construction of short-cut roads, it took about 90 mins to reach there, but 3 hours to go down.

As usual, we paid a few ringgits to go into the gardens. 1st stop was The Rose Valley (玫瑰山庄). It was okay, but, not really very well-maintain. Yet, it was a pleasant for taking photos^^. Then, we went to the Cactus Farm^^~~~It was way better!~~

cameron4

There were even some animals there. But, it was kinda sad to see them being caged in Rose Valley. For Cactus Farm, it was really a mountain of gardens there!

Photobucket
Love those daisies?! They are for you all^^~~~

Photobucket
Here is the Strawberry Picking Farm. Actually, this was the 1st time we picked our own strawberries! I have to say that it was super fun despite it was a bit pricey~ My favourite destination of all time!^^

Photobucket

Lastly, another rose for you all!

Cameron Highlands, really a heaven for photographers!!!!!!! Hopefully, I can own my own DSLR soon(><)........Hahaha, juz keep on supporting my blog guys^^~~~~

ok, it is time to prepare for the ultimate battle! For now, let's keep in touch(^^)~~~

My Wonderland (72 Tenants, Avatar, Burger King)

Omg, I just realised that I hadn't updated for more than a week! There were a lot in my mind! But, some of them were washed away by time. Yet, I would try my best to remember some beautiful memories! That's is why My Little World is My Wonderland! Haha, isn't this obvious? I am going to talk about Alice in Wonderland! But, at the same time, I will talk a bit about 72 TENANTS and also AVATAR!!!~~~ I warned you all, this is gonna be a super duper long post!

Chapter 1: 72 Tenants

Firstly, 72 tenants! Well, it was a bit over-rated! Even though Anita Yuen is still my favourite actress, she seems to lose her own style already! But, the complimentary passes were really worthy because the whole cinema was full-house even in Jusco Balakong there! Crazy ~~~~~~The storyline was a bit predictable - all well that ends well ~~~ But, several guest actors really did make a huge impression!
  • Shermaine 佘诗曼 - The Landlord lady - super fierce and totally not her image at all! It was a great try for her. But, her appearance was too short!!!!!~~~
  • 钟嘉欣 had to kiss 王祖蓝 so many times(@@)~~~
Rating
  1. Cast: 8/10
  2. Storyline: 5/10
  3. Development: 4/10 (climax)

Chapter 2: Alice's Wonderland in Midvalley
Last Wednesday (17-3-10), after class, me and my gang of friends wondered our way to a Wonderland - Midvalley! Our plan was to watch Alice in Wonderland. But, to our surprise, the wonderland was filled with people! Yes, we were drowned in a sea of people. Horrible!!! Then, when we queued for the tickets for 4.30pm show. The screen were showing selling fast, but there were still about 30 reserve tickets left. But, the stupid staff would not check for us! Super lousy!!!! Anyway, at the end, we ended up buying tickets at GSC SIGNATURE GARDEN!!!! YES, THE TICKETS WERE 100% more expensive(RM15)!

alice

Oh, in conjunction of Alice's Wonderland showing, Mivalley also created a Wonderland of its own! I have to say: it was amazing!!!! Everything there was quite detailed and beautiful!!!!~~~~Gonna show you all more photos^^. Anyway, can you all see the GSC Signature!? It was super grand! and all the seats there were double seated which was suitable for couple! I was lucky to have the double seat all by myself. I felt like a RED QUEEN there. hohohoho, laying there, and enjoying the show!

Before the show, we headed for lunch! Yes, we were starved to death thanks to GSC Midvalley! If you got the cash, just go for GSC Signature lah~~~ but, not always lah~~~..hahaha. We had BURGER KING for lunch and thanks to Elaine - she treated us ooooooooooooo !!! Thanks~~~

burger king

Yes, certain restaurants, the bill can be paid via Touch-n-Go card. How convenient!!!!~~~ Again, thanks Elaine for the treat! Thanks~~~~~~~~Milllion thanks~~~~~~~~

burger king

Well, the burgers were super nice! Of course, it was much more tastier than McDonald, but, the price also more expensive. One thing I was surprise and dislike was that there was no more free flow of soft drinks. Haizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz~~~~~~~~~~

alice

Here are the models of the day! Hahaha, it was indeed a fun day to relax! But, the crowd was too great! It was super difficult to take photos. People kept on wrecking the scene. ~~~

alice
The Wonderland of Midvalley really attracted people! Wonder why they didn't make Pandora for Avatar?~~~~Anyway, guys, I really had a great time! We should do it more often!(^^)~~~

Chapter 3: Avatar in Wonderland

Well, how would I start this?!~~~ Avatar and Wonderland are both great movies in their own ways! Avatar, took its time to explore the world of Pandora. However, Alice rushed her revisit of the Wonderland. If Tim Burton took another 30 mins to show us how beautiful Wonderland was, I would vote for Wonderland to win! Now, both of them are in tie! Avatar lacked of interaction between human and Navee~~ When everything happened in 3D, it stuck to 3D. There were no direct interactions! In Wonderland, Alice interacted with all the 3D characters like the rabbit, the animals. But, the casts in Wonderland had rather short appearance which led to limitation of acting. Johnny Depp was a colourful vase~~~ So, the rating are~~~
Avatar
  1. Cast: 6/10 (Well, most of them are in 3D)
  2. Storyline: 7/10 (predictable)
  3. Development: 9/10 (climax was great!)
Alice's Wonderland
  1. Cast: 7.5/10 (lack of development of characters)
  2. Storyline: 9/10 (Revisiting was a great theme)
  3. Development: 7/10 (climax was too much! need to lengthen the story and time of movie)

Awakening Month of Life Is Too Short [The True Meaning of Life Series 5]

It will soon to be the end of my very long holiday! Yes, this month should be the month that I start to plan my course of life. Yet, slacking is the main priority of my life right now. Sad, but, it is going to end soon.

These days, life is so boring. I don't like to study[who does?!] But, after months of holiday, there is a huge change in me physically and mentally. Physically = fat; Mentally = urge to learn. Yes, holidays are the best days to gain weight effortlessly. To my own surprise, I suddenly have the urge to increase my capacity of knowledge. Plus, I am so dying for assignments to come into my way. Yes, for the past 2 years, assignments were hellish to me. Yet, this holiday changes me for now?! Maybe, when my uni starts, I would be my old-self again?! It all seem so mysterious to me!!!

Recently, I was watching quite a number of shows and dramas. Inspirations are surfacing "profusely". Life really terribly short!!! E.g: Currently, I am 20-year-old. If I can up to 80-year-old, this would mean that I have already use 1/4 or a quarter of my life. Gosh!!! During these 3 months, I really wasted a lot of time. But, what is so nice about wasting time is that I figure it out that life is really short[it took me long enough><] - like Shakespeare's Life Brief Candle, a poem that I have learn during my secondary school days. That's why me must treasure the time we have.

Yes, I have an awakening moment month. It is time to go back to my uni!!! It is time to work hard. Life is too short to waste!!! So, before my life ends, I want to do something meaningful, something memorable, something forever and something that I would regret if I don't do it!!!
  1. Yasmin Ahmad - a talented director who dedicated her ability to promote unity through her films.
  2. Michael Jackson - a legendary dancer and singer who changed the world with his music.
  3. Xjion89 - a partime blogger who lived a simple life with no regrets!
[Yup, as you can see, there is an odd one out from the list above]..Haha, it depends on how you want to live you life. Every person would have their own way to blossom in life. Maybe, I choose the simple way to blossom.

Photobucket

人无千日好,花无百日红
The Chinese Proverb above really tells us about life. Life would not be as smooth just like flower would not blossom whole year long.[Direct translation applied]. We would have our ups and downs. But, there would a time or 2 times or 3 times that we could peak ourselves in life. Remember[ Mariah Carey who has set a record of 18 No.1 Singles. ]She was a waitress[down]. She was a singer[up]. Her movie career was disastrous[down]. She is a hip-hop queen now[up]. There's why people would have their moments of ups and downs.

Omg, why am I sounding like a fake philosopher?! Maybe I watch too many TV shows.

Yet, the truth is life is short! Just try to reduce the regrets in life(^^)

Blossoming Cactus Symbolises Luck!

Cactus is such an unique plant! It can survive in the hottest environment, such as the desert. This is mainly due to its flawless "skin" to prevent the vapourization of water and its strong root to nourish its "thorny body". As ex-Bio student during my secondary school, I also learned that some cacti can actually blossom. The outcome of its blossom is just simply amazing! - Magnificent Flowers that take your breath away!

Well, personally, I quite like cactus because of its cool look with cruel thorns. This is how it looks when it does not blossom. But, when it blossoms, you just can't stop loving this "Icy Beauty Queen". If you don't believe me, I will let her speaks for herself! I bet you are already enthralled by her beauty!

Photobucket

When she starts to blossom, there is no stopping her to capture the spotlight!

Photobucket

People said that "Good things come in 3?!"{From ANTM 8,Brittany's Photo Shot}

The flowers really bright up my day! Who would have known that "Icy Beauty Queen" can have 3 of the warmest hearts(^^)? By the way, I just lucky to see them blossoming at the same time! How lucky!!!

I am Wolverine who has green "claws"[fingers]

You Are Wolverine

Small but fierce, you're a great fighter.

Watch out! You are often you're own greatest enemy.

Powers: Adamantium claws, keen senses, the ability to heal quickly

Well, this personality test is quite interesting. I learned this test from a blogger friend - JK. Haha, after taking the test, I thought either I would be Storm or Jean[Both of their powers are mental-based] However, to my surprise, I am Wolverine who is fierce fighter[So, don't mess with me(^^), just kidding]. Anyway, it is just a test. I still can't imagine the similarity between me and Wolverine.[I am not really physically-fit, I am fat(><)]

However, if I am Wolverine, I will be Wolverine with green claws. Haha, because, I really like gardening. Let me talks about the benefits of gardening by yourself:

  1. Work out >>>Sometimes, physical demanding which burns fats in a short time.
  2. Save money>>> Don't have to hire a gardener, you also don't have to go to gym.
  3. enlighten your day>>> A little picturesque garden of your own.

These are only a few of the benefits of gardening. In short, gardening is just great!!! Okay, now, it is time for some extreme-makeover for my little garden. Actually, after sending back my Indonesian maid{due to economy burden a.k.a getting poorer-if have time please support my ads(^^)}, plus my mother was involved in an accident quite some time ago which resulted a very serious knee injury, there was not nobody left to really take care of our little garden. So, as a member in my house, I decided to "claw" off all the unwanted grass and leaves in this semi-abandoned garden. I have decided to make this My Little World just for today!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

  • The first picture is the before makeover- It was actually quite messy with all the grass and the deco-item was down due to weather
  • The second picture is the process - As you can see my {beautiful}hand holding a green claw, I was about to start to work.
  • The third picture is the after - Well, it was not exactly very extreme. But, there were some differences still- neater, cleaner, and another added deco-item (* *) {I really heart it}

Apart from that, as the ultra-sensitive Wolverine, I had also found some of the hidden jewels in my garden. If I had not done gardening work today, maybe, I would lost them forever. So, another good point for gardening. Here are my hidden jewels!

PhotobucketPhotobucket

  • It was really a little white Princess waiting for me to look for her!{P.s: I even edited her into a lomo as my footer, scroll to the lowest of my blog to check it out!}
  • The flowers and the stones just blended together in harmony(^^)!

Lastly, I would say that gardening is just awesome! Plus, as Wolverine, I just proud to have green claws!!!!!!(^^){hahaha, I crapped in a meaningful way today, yeah!!!!}

Lovely Lotus

If you see a lovely flower poising steadily by itself from the water and blossoming gracefully in pink, then, that is lotus as this is the general description for lotus flower. Actually, in my home, I have a little pot of lotus flower. Well, it matched the description above. To be honest, it is very easy to plant lotus. You need a holeless pot, soil, sand on the surface and of course, water. These are the important ingredients.

So, before I write this article, I did some research. Hahaha, this is the results of studying in academic style. Surprisingly, there is another name for lotus - Nelumbo. What a beautiful name! Apart from that, I also found out that lotus is actually the national flower for India; therefore, sometimes, people refer lotus as " Sacred Lotus ".

Did you know that every part of the lotus plant has its own use? Of course, the flower itself is for decoration. But, the core of lotus, or rather the fruits is quite nice to eat. Apart from that, the root of the lotus is also edible. It can be cooked into various delicious dishes. Last but not least, even its leaves can be used to wrap rice for cooking purposes. Lotus is a hundred-use plant indeed.

Well, below are some of the shots that I took. It is not perfect, but, I really enjoy taking pictures of beautiful flower.

0

At this moment, the flower is about to blossom. Even so, it still looks very graceful.

3

Finally, it blossoms fully majestically with its pinkish petals like a shy little girl becoming a charming lady.

lotus 1

This yellowish core is so soft and warm just the the heart of a person.

I would say that the gracefulness and the sacredness of lotus is just simply exquisite. There is no other flower has that sacred feel. If there is, please tell me by leaving a comment .Hahaha....

My Orchid Fairland

I have started working already. Working days are not easy. But, that is life. Money!Money!Money! However, now, just put that aside. This time, I am going to write about my holiday. Of course, like everybody, my holiday life is just BORED. But, I did go to an interesting event held in my hometown. Currently, there is an orchid fair here. Well, it is not so grand, just a small fair. But, at least, it is a good pastime activity.

In that fair, I saw uncountable species of orchids. They are so mesmerising. Practically, there is a land of flower there under canopies of tents.

This is the fair.....
