First Live Catwalk I Watched and Remembered (Roxy/Quicksilver@Midvalley)

This is definitely overdue post, almost 1 year ago (@@). Hardly can believe that I can drag so long. Well, because I have finished most of my work, especially the dreadful FYP !!!! Yeah!!! Anyhow, 2day, the story is about Roxy/Quicksilver Fashion Show 2011 Midvalley! Let the show begins!

 

The stage is utterly nice and colours full of life! Totally in love with it! A paper art with vibrant colours!

Due to my low-zoom and quality of my camera, the pictures were not that clear! But, I am still quite satisfied with the pictures of beautiful people on stage!!! (Despite I am not a fan of checker-box shirt)

The girls were looking great on stage!Again, the human heads were blocking my camera view, too bad I couldn't take the whole body. 

The guy were also looking stylish and cool! Oh,I only I don't have a huge tummy and tall enough, I wouldn't hesitate to walk on it..hahahaha (joking!!!)

    

I Love Flying in The Lunar Night!

Oh yes, another MIA from me~ These few months were really unexpected busy! From internship to holiday, everything just seemed to "lum" together. Anyway, hahahaha~ I am in my hometown again~ Loving everything here! It is so weird. I have been spending my lifetime in hometown; yet, I feel nothing much about it until I leave this beautiful place. People really only start to appreciate when things are gone! Oh yeah!

Anyhow, I bet you are still scratching your head thinking how come I love flying in the lunar night?? Hahaha, it is my 1st Nike which I picked myself finally!~~Yes, previously, my dad always pass his old shoes to me to wear! This time, I finally have the chance to choose my NIKE. 

I know it sounds a bit exaggerating. Unlike my friends, they are rich and wealthy. I see them getting themselves a lot of pairs of NIKE. For me, I am usually a person who love 1 thing almost for a lifetime unless it is spoiled or lost or kena stolen. If not mistaken, this will be my shoes for the next 5 - 8 years~~No kidding!  So, no time being wasted, announce my baby:

Pretty right? I think this shoes really suits my personality. I love to brag~ But, not too much! Hahaha, if you notice, the shoes usually will remain under the radar. However, in the night, you will see it glowing!!! Yes!!! Loving it(^^)

LUNARFLY is such a beautiful name! I love everything from head to toe even some of friends said tat it is normal and not nice...It all goes back to personal taste (^^).....

Flowery Farewell for Her @Floria Putrajaya

These 2 days, I had been busy farewell-ing a friend of mine! It seems that I am busier during holiday! I have a lot of unfinished chores, works, and even some extra projects to do. Haiz, all of these are most probably my own fault to make myself busy! Anyway, today, this post is specially dedicated for a girl! Yes, not just any girl in town! She is my big sister lah!!!!Hahaha, apparently, she is going to Australia to live with my bro-in-law. So, it is almost 2 months already since she left. Nothing will ever be the same! But, we can't always expect life to be the same, right?

I know that Floria Putrajaya, this event ended a long time already. But, the scent, the colour are still vividly printed in my senses! Yes, this post is for you, my sis! If you read this, aren't you glad that we went for Floria instead of sleeping at home..Hahaha!

It was quite far away! Yes, it was within within Putrajaya! But, luckily we managed to find it! After parking the car, we marched into the exhibitions. The admission was free! and, one thing I must complain!!!! It was baking-hot outside; therefore, they should at least prepare for more roofings!

Now, here was the outside area! I bet it would be more beautiful if we come at night. However, due to time constraint, we could only see so much! Those white lanterns should be stunning at night!!~~

Of course, because of the high temperature outside, we quickly went inside the tentsthere! Inside the tent, it was a whole new exhibition of flower arts. I was snapping non-stop on the unique flower arrangement. Haiz, at this moment, I again hope for my DSLR to come into my arms. But, no, I don't have a DSLR, just have to live with my amazing Lumix FS6! Yeah!!!!~~~

This was one of the most amazing items in the tent! Everything was made out of plants, flowers~~~It was very chic!!!~~ It was definitely not easy to make this at all!!!~~

After the flowery visits, we went back home and rested for a while before driving to LCCT! It was quite a ride! Located so far away~~~(><) and We also had our dinner over there @ Old Town! It was by far the worst Old Town in Malaysia!!!! Service bad! Food bad!! Everything bad!!!

There she was! Standing there, worrying that her luggage would exceed the limits! Dear sister, hope that you will have a great start and a great life in Australia! Like the Chinese proverb - The beginning is the hardest (万事起头难）As long as you have the determination, no matter how much time you use, you will definitely find your path there! Enjoy your new life there!

Looking Back 2009 and Welcoming 2010

Seriously, time seems to fly like the speed of light. A couple of years ago, time was stagnant to me. Today, in my 20, I realised that if I keep on wasting time, eventually, there would be no time left. Anyway, this day is the final day of 2009. Like previous years, now is my study week. This is a post to look back my 2009! After reading Sinchew daily, I also want to do a look-back of significant events happen in my life!

January 2009

It was a month of examination, celebration and etc. Most of all, it was my 1st Cheque Out from Nuffnang! Yes, I love money($ $)..Hahaha~~~Apart from that, there were also other nice happenings in January like the Chinese New Year(^^), my birthday day! Oh gosh, it was indeed a month of celebrations.

February 2009

Well, February was the month that I start my next sem. Well, it was not as nice as January, but, I enjoyed a blast because I went jalan-jalan Malaysia. One of the nicest destination was Dong Zen Temple. It was like a magical lantern land.

March 2009

It was the month which I went for my 1st official concert! Well, my housemate got us some free tickets and we were that lucky(^^)! Yeah, I went to watch Fahrenheit Concert 2009~~~~love their stage~~~

Then at the same month, I went to one of the most famous Japanese Buffet restaurants in Malaysia- Jogoya!!!! Yes, a feast for my tastebuds!!!!

April 2009

Of course, the fun continued until April. It was a roar of speed event! - Sepang Circuit 2009! It was kinda cool because 1st time went there.Yet,  it was not what I expected!

May and June 2009

A lot happened in these two months. Birthday celebrations, then, examinations and finally, my 1st beg-packing trip to Cambodia!!!! Yes, my journey to the mystic land of Siem Reap, Cambodia!

July 2009

Needless to say more, another food trip to Tenji this time~~~ I am super fat for sure!

August and September 2009

Soyonara to some of my besties who were leaving to overseas to further their studies! It was a month for farewell gathering! Then, it was also a month for me to regain my composure for the next semester to arrive! Plus, some nice visits to special exhibition - Holy light from Tibet in Ipoh!

October 2009

A month of reality began this month as my sem finally started. I was so busy for the past 2 months. I did not really have any fun. Experiencing stress all the way~~~

November and December 2009

Just like that, it is almost the end 2009. I really need to start studying! No time for slacking!!!!!!

Insectology - The Ants' Circle

Recently, I am very fascinated by insects! Not that I am very fond of them, but they really make good models! However, they are usually patient for a short period of them when modeling for me(><). With my growing interest in photographing insects, I have a new label [insectology]! Yes, I use insectology instead of entomology!!!!

For my 1st-not-so-nice piece, I named it The Ants' Circle. Just like humans, ants do have they own circles. There are working ants, army ants and etc. It really does reflect our own circles somtimes, doesn't it?!

Anyway, for the piece above, I am not very satisfied. Reasons: Too blur and unfocused! Firstly, the light in the room was too dimmed which resulted the lack of exposure for close-up photos. Secondly, the macro-focused of a compact camera was not easy to control! If it was bright enough in the room, then, the result would be delightful! Yes, in order to take clearer pics, lighting is very important. In the defense of my Lumix FS6, it really did a good job even though under the weak lighting of the room!(^^)

A Day Free from Technology!(TVless, Laptopless, radioless) and I make an artwork!

Sunday night was not a pleasant night. I was so angry that night. Some personal reasons which I want to keep to myself. Well, after that night, I was so energetic because of the anger and madness. So, I stayed up very late.

During that time, I was thinking a lot. There was nothing bad about being angry. In fact, I was so full of energy that I made a lot of plan that night. I think that occasionally being angry, is quite good. Hahaha, it gives motivation, energy, determination, ... It drives people to the fullest. However, the resentment is still there. I have to admit that I hold grudge easily. So, be careful, don't make me angry, I will remember forever. Hmmm, maybe a couple of years...(Don't freak out). Hahaha, in person, I am quite okey.Okey, back to my huge plan.

List of My Plans:

1. No laptop or online from Sunday night to Monday night( I made it, I waited until 8.30pm just now)
2. I will renovate my room (In the midst of doing that, to be continued tomorrow)
3. I will try to be more environmentally-friendly.( Hahaha, I am making organic-fertilizer - I dug a big hole, throw every organic waste I have into.)
4. I will practise more for my up-coming piano test.
5. I will plan for more plans.

For my plan no.2, I had made something. Well, I was going to rearrange my room totally and I made a little something to match it. So, before revealing my renovated-room, let's have a look at the table lamp that I made. It was very easy. To begin, let's prepare some of the materials.

You can see clearly that there are photo frames, scissor, pen knife, color papers, and some glue.

After finishing the design, you can see that they are very pretty, especially the 3D dimension of the colorpaper parts, they are my favourite.

Here are the almost final looks. The left side is the red and green designs, while the right side is the yellow and red designs. They look stunning with the light shinning behind them.



Wala, the final product is being displayed on the very pretty stone table.

Anger, madness, stubborness, sadness..even though they are all negative influences, they have their good sides as well. They sometimes inspire, motivate, push people to the top. Well, I have to say that it is not good to rely on them. But, at one time, they do wanders.

A day without technology was fun, I made a piece of artwork, I became more environmental-friendly, I saved electric energy... But, at the end of the day, I still have to depend on technology to blog.(^-^). In this era of techno, something are meant to stay. They have rooted their existence in human history, maybe in the future, they are our future-technology.

Hellboy 2 is here!!!

As you can see from my blog picture, I am crazy about "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" right now. Therefore, about 3 hours ago, I went to watch the movie with a friend. My friend was just in time when I was about to go into the cinema all by myself, leaving him outside. Hahaha, he was lucky that he was not late.

Well, about the movie, as expected, it was of course a magnificent movie. But, unexpectedly, it was more fantasy this time. I think this is all because of the director of "Pan's Labyrinth", Guillermo del Toro. "Pan's Labyrinth was one of my favourite movie - a combination of reality and fantasy. Well, in this case for Hellboy 2, he created another fantasy world, another land of the mystical, and another success.

The storyline was actually like a fairytale, or a bedtime story. However, in actual, the fairytale was history between the humans and the mystical creatures. There was a deal between them. But, Prince Nuada was not satisfied with deal, he wanted to fight for more. Thus, he planned to revive the Golden Army. Of course, hellboy and his gang tried their best in stopping him.

In this new sequel, hellboy was still the same. But, he finally got his girl,Liz who learned to control her fiery power. Also don't forget about Mr. Sapien, he found his love one, Princess Nuala. They had the same power of feeling. Just with a touch, they could read the mind.

In the movie, I love his big gun!

She is as cool as ever. Well, she is cranky because...

He is in love in the movie.

Oh, he is very good with his spear.

The Angel of Death, reminds me of the pale man in "Pan's Labyrinth", but, the angel of death is very different because it is not evil nor good. However, Pale Man was evil who consumed real children. (One of my favourite character- really authentic )

In this movie, actually my most favourite scene was when the God of the Forest was finally vanished in the city of modern day. But, after it was banished by the hellboy, God of the Forest left something very nice behind - a forest in the middle of a city.

At the end of movie, hellboy really got a hell of a surprise, make it double. What to know the surprise, faster check the movie at your nearest cinema.(Hahaha, I sound like the spokeman of the movie.). This movie is a must-watch movie. Don't miss it.(^_^)
