Farewell, A Friend of Mine (1) Janice

Time really flew like the speed of light. Just like that, I have been studying in my uni for 2 years already. I still remembered the day I stepped foot on the ground of my uni. It was a secluded area with limited resources[No Kidding]. Today, I have a bunch of uni friends who I have spent 2 years together without realising it. Now, some decide to stay; some are leaving in this month. Oh, I am gonna miss them.

Today, I am going to clear one of my blog posts debt. Yes, truly in debt, because these few days, I was in KL meeting soME friends who will be leaving. Anyway, this little farewell was for Janice, held in IPOH PARADE. Well, she is the 1st person who really gives without asking. A long time ago, she gave me some sincerely gifts from Hong Kong [here]. She was and is a true friend indeed.

Janice, the same name as my favourite singer, and I have known each other for about 2 years. Our friendship is kinda short, but, she is cool!!!. Anyway, if u remember my previous previous post [here], it was a mini farewell for Janice. As usual, just lunch and movie!

Firstly, we had our lunch at Kenny Rogers!

Well, the food there was okay only! Personally, the chicken and the smash potatoes were a bit spicy due to too much peppers in the dishes. Overall, it was okay~~~. One thing I must point out - Their Macaroni Cheese was in a huge portion!!! Even Shiwei couldnot finish it!~!!!

Since she refused to show her pretty face, I had no choice to take a photo of her sexyback@@...hahaha~~~

After that, we were wondering in Ipoh Parade, walking here and there. Then, we came to the Teddy Bear Land in Bum City. Yup, models of the day! Shiwei and Alice~~~
It was kinda of cool to take pic in front of all those cute teddy bears. Well, Janice, also took 1; but, due to personally reason[she is shy], I decided not to post it up here..hahahaha!

Next week, she would be leaving UK as a transfer student. Therefore, she would finish all the studies there. Yes, she is not coming back after a year like the mobility programme. Haiz!!!!

Sweet Memory 1989

1989, my birth year!!! Yes, I am telling everyone my age. Yet, isn't that important for guys or gals, right? During my 20 years walking on the surface of the earth, I saw many remarkable sights, tasted amazing cuisine, and smell horrific stench from the dumpyard!

Sweet Memory 1989 is my personally diary of the things that I love during my childhood up to my teenage life and up to my adulthood. After 10 years, I would be 30-year-old. I think that it would be interesting to look back into my childhood and teenage life.

Anyway, back to the image above, well, since young, I have a huge heart on this sweet. If you can see the wrapping of the sweet, it said:" 黄心梅 in Chinese and きろこころうめ　in Japanese. Both also mean yellow-hearted plum [ forgive my direct translation><] Firstly, thanks to some basic Japanese classes, I am able to identify that this sweet might be from Japan. Haha(^^) If you have watch Up[Here], the 78-year-old man lived inside his memory until he decided to change his life by fulfilling his wife's dream to "balloon" the house to Paradise Fall! At the end, when he looked back into his memory book (The Adventure Book by Ellie, his deceased wife), he finally knew that they did not live a disappointing live as inside her adventure book was the sequence of pictures of their young life to their older days. She treasured every moment they had even though they did not make a lot money, have children, or even travel the world. Those were the simple yet forever memory of their lives.

Ooo, before and after inspired by this movie, I am going to make a My Adventure Blog(^^)...haha.... It is not about age! There will be geniuses at the tender age of 10; but, there will also be elderly setting record despite their ages. That is life! Nothing is impossible!!!!


My achievement so far-----

• eat a lot of Japanese buffet[here, here, ...]
  
• eat more food![here, here, here, .,.....infinity]
• beg-packing in Cambodia! [here, here,here, here]
  
• Learn to swim without drowning but, with the fat on my body now, I am sure that I can float naturally(^^)

Ain't those achievements worth nothing to be mention to some people?! Well, it means a lot to me because there were so many first in there.......I am no superman; I am just somebody finding the path that I want to walk!!! No Mozart, no Edison, no super-young genius - I am me! Comparing myself to others would only make me feel tired![note: comparing with other ppl is the typical Chinese family tradition^^]

My Targets

• Buy a house as soon as possible
• Travel around the world
• Become a trillionaire
• Become World Next Top Model@@!!!???
• Become a legend!!!

Haha, we set the targets! Is this possible, maybe?! But, is this truly what we want and what we urge for?! I really have those dream before...or have I?! Anyway, it is not important as long as we are contented with what we have!!! Becoming World Next Top Model, in my dreams...haha><

Omg, i sound so emo~~~ not really, actually, during this 3 months, I think a lot~~~~~~~maybe, I successfully found 禅（zen)....?!

The UP-heaval Prelude of Life Symphony With A Beautiful Merdeka Day^^

Last Wednesday, I finally went out with Janice, Shiwei, Alice and Yvonne like a mini farewell for Janice who is going to transfer to UK this September. Oh, many of my friends are venturing to the other side of the world. Yet, I am still here - the same old me~~~~ I felt like the old man in the [Up] movie.

Haha, however, that old man really lives!!!! Well, the story begins with the old man meeting his active-energetic future during his childhood. They have all the dreams in the world to live an adventurous life! Yup, they wanted to build a house on the edge of Paradise Waterfall@@. However, sometimes, life just don't follow the way we want to, right?! Well, their life was being portrait through this lovely song! I fell in love with the prelude of the movie (^^)!

The song was sweet and joyous at first. Full of colours, I would say. Yet, life is not perfect. Ups and Downs are almost inevitable! Sad things would happen. We lived life, we grew old - the cycle of life. Ooo, that scene was really touching! The feeling was some sort like what I have experience from [here]Wall-E!!! It was simple yet touching! Then, later, I found out that the writer of both movies were the same - Peter Docter!!!! Well, don't really know much about him! But, his way is simple;but, meaningful!(^^) This might be his magic?!

When his beloved wife passed away, old man was totally lost and kept himself sheltered from the outside. Until he was about to be sent to Old Folks' home, he decided to take the whole house to Paradise Fall, just to finish his lovely wife adventure's book! Of course, the cutie Chinese boy accidentally tagged along. They really ended on the Paradise Fall.

Ooo, from there, so many things happened!!!!He learned that he had to move on even though he is that old!!!! From his wife's adventure book, he learned that she really treasure every moment with him. Marrying him and growing old with him was her adventure of the lifetime(><)!!!! The story here taught us that nothing is too late; age is not a barrier; time waits for no one;... the list keeps going on~~~
