As in my previous post, life is getting uncertain ever since joining the Ph.D. life. Perhaps, I need to be inspired at this moment. Can I have a pool of ideas which are like unpolished diamond, kinda greedy?! But, my brain is so dried up now. Hopefully, I can see beyond the windows.

5 Meals 1 Day Edition (4)
Continuing the foodie track, the next stop was Levain!!! I believe that this bakery is really famous and well-known to all! Yup, another nice place for dessert and lunch! Location of this amazing bakery is at a secluded Jalan Delima! Totally have no idea where is it, I was only the passenger....hahahahaha~
Obviously, I think the decor in that place really plays an important role in attracting customers! With nice setting at the exterior, the interior design completes the total package with interesting paintings, display items,etc.
When you enter the bakery, it is practically filled with breads~~~ Yup, all sort of breads, you name it, you will get it (mostly). I really lost track of the name of the breads!
Of course, apart from breads, Levain also offers other type of food! Their spaghetti was exceptionally tasty! Totally in love with the seafood spaghetti on the right!
The breads were not only well-baked, they were so nice to look it until you would feel "What a waste to just eat it"! Hahahahaa!!!
Every month, they would introduce some new cakes/ breads. Yup,continual improvement, to be creative....
Maybe,that's is why this bakery is so successful!!!! Overall rating: 9/10.

A Glance Back To Japanese Garden Ipoh
Oh my, I just finished packing my stuffs, not much though. It finally arrived - The Start of My New Semester. I am leaving tomorrow and quite a number of my friends are leaving this weekend. I am pretty sure that I would stuck in a chaotic traffic jam and human jam all at once(><). Anyway, 4 months of relaxation, boredom, and last minute busy-ness, I am ready to go back and my friends, may I warn you, I look chubbier than ever!!!![In short, I am fat] Prepare for my huge return! So, as I had said earlier, mixture feelings are unavoidable - happy, nervous, nostalgic, ..... Oh well, life goes on and like most people, when we are out there, home is the light that drives us to the top(^^)~~~~
Okay, recently, I was scanning some old photos of my mom and dad's. Yup, during their younger days, just like the teenagers now, they like to take pictures(^^). and I am the one who have to scan all their photos which most of them are older than me into the PC. Omg, the scanner is ultra slow! It took me about 2 - 3 hours to scan a whole album~~~(@@)..... Then, when we were looking back at those photos, my mom said that when she was young, she would go to Ipoh along with her friends to Japanese Garden Ipoh and then, they would visit the famous Octagon Building [八角楼] for meals. Well, until now, the Japanese Garden is still here yet lack of care and preservation where as Octagon Building was demolished a long time ago. and its land is used as a parking space(What a waste!). However, according to the newspaper, Ipoh is considering rebuilding this once famous building into a tourist landmark.(Hope this comes true)

Yes, this is the old Octagon Building... Back then, they said that it was a liability to the safety of the citizens. Therefore, it was knocked down.[Original Link]

I know! The water is very green! But, the koi fish inside the pond manage to survive(@@). To be honest, they really need to take care of it~~~

This is the one garden that lacks flowers too~~~ My house really has more flowers than this garden ooo~~~haha, plus, if you look closely, some of the alphabets were even gone...and, behind the stone light was the super main road! That's why it was really noisy there until I can't hear myself talking! Plant some bamboo will do~~~

It would be an amazing garden if the rich owner take care of it! The opening hours are also very weird. During weekdays, it only opens from 5pm. {so late} while weekends, they open it earlier.
Anyway, it is just a glance back to Japanese Garden Ipoh before I leave. KL, here I come! After staying there for 2 years, I am used to the traffic jams and always delay KTM...Cross-finger....tomorrow no jam and no delays...which is highly impossible!

Now, a glance back to Japanese Garden Ipoh. Well, I am quite sure that not many Ipoh-rians nowadays go to the Japanese Garden Ipoh. [More info on its location] Even my mum who used to go there, haven't visited this place for ages. Well, I am a curious person! I want to witness the once-famous Japanese Garden Ipoh.....

Yes, this is the Japanese Garden Ipoh or Taman Jepun Ipoh or イポーの日本庭園 or 怡保日本花园。。。。。(Haha, I just stopped my Japanese Language class. I miss it already!) Well, according to my mum , the arrangement of the garden was still the same. Yet, it was not as nice as it used to be.

Those Were The Days (Primary School Memory)
Yesterday, while attending Hari Raya Open House, I bumped into a very long time friend. She was my primary school friend. It was still a little bit surprise even though every time we almost meet up at this event. Well, she changed a lot, so did I. Anyway, we were really busy catching up with all the news of our old friends{Gossiping}(^^)
Definitely, it was great to bump into her again. I was really happy because a couple of years ago, me and another friend tried to hold a gathering. To our dismay, we had lost most of our friends' contact. Therefore, that experience taught me to appreciate my friends more or else when you lost contact, you might lost them forever. {Sentimental Mood}
Primary School was the best time of my life. Unlike my secondary school life, it was all about academic achievements and being active in clubs and society. For uni life, it was also about growing up and stepping into the society. Each stage was totally a different phrase for all of us, I think. In my primary school life, it was simple and fun. Nothing was so complicated that we had to commit suicide. Honestly, at that time, we just tried our best and the results were always fruitful, except for a few failures(^^). It was like everything was very easy at that time. Back then, I was a scout at my primary school. Well, don't ask me why I join, because it was just a spur of a moment. But, during my scout years, I had the greatest moments!

I still kept this hat and scarf after so many years{almost 10 years}. Maybe there were so many good memories that I just don't want to let go!
For starters, I really enjoyed my time there:
Yes, joining scout in my primary school years was one of the best decisions I had ever made. Till now, when I am intimidated by the situation or the people in my life, I will remember to stand tall and face them without any fear! Those were the days I shone the most! Those were the days I would never forget!

For starters, I really enjoyed my time there:
- I was the scout leader for my year{Really unbelievable to me and many people too because that time, I was quite chubby, fair, and soft-spoken}
- I was in love with marching even though it tanned my skin{My skin recovered super fast}
- I was in love with scout knots {They tested me 6-9 different knots}
- I was in love with shouting out orders. {Never knew that there was a great voice hidden within me}
- I was in love with climbing about everything from trees to low building. {I was once a monkey}
- I was in love with scout tests {I had the chance to build a tent and even walk in a river}
- I was in love with all my scout friends {They gave me total obedience - I was Hitler back then}
- I was in love with all the activities. {I acted, sang, told stories,...the confession of a Drama King}
- I was in love with all the hardship. {We had to march for whole day long- not really still have break.}
- I was in love with scout! {One of the greatest moments in my life}

Curtain Fantasy!
Yes, finally, the 3rd promised post in previous Post (PPIPP). hahaha(^^)
Moon Cake FeastDragon-i Inn- Best Buy Selection
Artwork-Curtain Dyeing
Well, since I was moving to a rented house, I really needed some accessories for the house and curtains were definitely a must! However, my mum and I were planning to save as much as we could. Our first plan was to buy some cheap clothes to sew a set of curtains for the sliding door.{Thanks, mum} However, my mum realized that there were still some old curtains hiding underneath the shelf. So, our plan changed to renewing the old curtain by dyeing them!
List: A pile of old clothes, An empty oil tank for boiling
{Yup, the ingredients were that simple. You and your mum, dad, brothers, sister, grandparents, friends, children....anyone can do this at home! However , please be careful with and boiled water and fire hazard!}
Okay, since I am quite busy these days, I will be very efficient in presenting the few easy steps to create an amazing curtain for your rooms, living rooms, just anywhere(^^).
- Step 1: Prepare all the ingredients above.{Note: Choose the dye that you like, but, remember to check whether your clothes are suitable for dyeing or not}
- Step 2: Please clean the oil tank and fill it with an adequate amount of water for dyeing colour
- Step 3: When the water is boiled, faster put in colour dye which depends on the intensity of the colour that you want.

- Step 4: Remember to stir the mixture non-stop.
- Step 5: When the colour dye is well-mixed, add in some salts to prevent discolouration in the end.
- Step 6: Stir the mixture well again and turn off the gas when it is ready.

- Step 7 : Do not straight away put the curtains inside, but wait for a few minutes.
- Step 8: Put the curtains inside the oil tank and stir well again.
- Step 9: After that, leave the curtains inside the tank for around 20 minutes.

- Step 10: Then, rinse the curtains in clean water until there is no more discolouration formed in the water.
- Step 11: Lastly, dry them under the beautiful bright sun. After that, just hang them anywhere you want! Your place will definitely be lit up(^^)
Finally, the final look on the sliding door!

From dirty and old white curtain, me and my mum had transformed them into new and classical curtains.
Well, when you can still reuse something, don't throw them away because they might end up becoming something really gorgeous. Anyway, besides having a great family moment with my mum, I also have the chance to recycle my curtains and made an art out of this.Isn't this green!(^^). My advice : Before you buy, please always check whether you need the items or not! I am proud to say that I am a green consumer!

A Classic Will Last Forever{Whitney Houston}
One of the greatest singers of all time who captured and captivated audiences from all walks of life. One of the greatest legends of all time who amazed and enthralled people with her wonderful voice. She is more than just any average singers, she is the diva of her time even though now, she does not shine like she used to be. But, she is still a classical that will last forever, Whitney Houston. {Even though she was involved in a lot of scandals(><)} While people will only remember her amazing performance in "The Bodyguard" on "I Will Always Love You", I have other preference in the movie. It was not as great as "I Will Always Love You", but, it really touched the hearts of people too. The name of the song is "Run To You"{Yup, I think nobody did notice this song because it was overshadowed by "I Will Always Love You"}. Anyway, the song was great and emotional. She really did put heart and soul in this song. I think that during that time, she was on her peak of her career. However, after meeting his future-husband/ex-husband, Bobby Brown, everything was just amiss. {Chinese Saying: "Girls are afraid of marrying the wrong husband; Guys are afraid of working for the wrong job"something like this lah} So, girls must find a good husband. (^^)
I love this song a lot. It is very touching!!!!!!!!!!!! This is like a recommendation from me(^^)
Aiyo, this song no need to say lah, sure very best. But, a fact is that the original singer was not Whitney Houston{Surprised}, she was the country singer, Dolly Parton{Err, me not a country singer fan except for Shania Twain, Trisha Yearwood, and Carrie Underwood}
Finally, I heard that Whitney Houston is going to release a new album in this November{Finally} I just can't wait for it. There is also a sense of worry whether she will make it or not. Anyway, wish her all the best!!!! I will always support you!!!!
